This Privacy Policy describes how Vuqo ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our sponsorship marketplace.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email, name, organization role (chapter or brand), and authentication data when you sign up or sign in (including via Google OAuth).
• Profile information: chapter or company details you provide (school, chapter name, contact fields, logos, bios, verification status, and similar profile data).
• Deal and transaction data: campaigns, applications, messages, deliverable submissions, payment status, and related metadata needed to operate deals.
• Technical data: cookies and session tokens used to keep you signed in and secure the service.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

• Operate the marketplace (matching, messaging, deliverables, payouts)
• Send transactional emails and in-app notifications
• Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and improve the product
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We use trusted processors to run Vuqo, including:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Stripe — payments and payouts
• Resend — transactional email
• Google — optional OAuth sign-in
• Vercel — application hosting

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

4. Visibility of contact information

Chapter contact details (such as contact name and email) are not shown publicly on Vuqo. They are shared with brands you are matched or in an active deal with, so both sides can coordinate off-platform when needed.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and dispute purposes. To request deletion of your account or personal data, email team@thevuqo.com.

6. Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions and core site functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit your ability to stay signed in.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
