Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vuqo, a two-sided marketplace that connects brands with Greek life chapters for sponsorship deals. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Vuqo provides software to post campaigns, discover chapters, apply or invite, negotiate in a shared workspace, submit deliverable proof, and process payments through Stripe. Vuqo facilitates introductions and deal workflow; it is not a party to your sponsorship agreements except as described here.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your chapter or company. One account per organization is expected. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. Marketplace role and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Brands authorize or pay through Stripe; chapters receive payouts via Stripe Connect. Vuqo does not hold funds outside of the payment flows configured through Stripe. We are not a bank, escrow agent, or insurer.

4. Platform fee

Vuqo charges a 10% platform fee on completed deals. Fees are disclosed before you confirm terms. Chapters are not charged to join or browse.

5. Deliverables, approval, and release

Chapters submit proof of deliverables (such as live links and screenshots) through the deal workspace. Brands review and approve work before payment is released. Disputes should be resolved in good faith through the platform; Vuqo may assist but does not guarantee outcomes.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Impersonate another organization or misrepresent your affiliation
• Engage in fraud, spam, or deceptive practices
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees on deals originated through Vuqo
• Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of university or organizational policies

7. Termination

You may stop using Vuqo at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to other users. Open deals in progress remain subject to applicable payment and dispute processes.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Vuqo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding fees paid to Vuqo in the twelve months before the claim. We do not guarantee deal volume, match quality, or sponsorship results.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
